Coffee, My Work Fuel

Coffee, My Work Fuel

Once upon a time, I thought coffee was for “old people.” Every time my mama made one, I’d joke about it.

Now? I can’t function at work without it.

Funny how things change.

Or maybe it’s because I’m one of the old people now.

I went from barely finishing one cup… to needing two just to survive a shift.

Peppermint mocha, no whip–hot only. That’s my non-negotiable.

From “coffee is for old people” to “don’t talk to me until I’ve had my coffee.”

At this point it’s just survival fuel just to get through a shift.

You don’t live to work, you work to live. Or at least that’s how it feels.

So tell me, are you team hot coffee or iced coffee at work? ☕️

Coffee just happened.
A Little Bisaya Note
Bisaya: “Ambot.”
English: “I don’t know.”🤷‍♀️
